I spotted this when I was out the other day. I have NO idea what this is or what it is supposed to be. Is it an art installation or some sort of functional thing like a funky cell tower though it’s kind of short to be a cell tower.

This piece is indeed part of the Albuquerque Public Art Program. More specifically – it is part of the Alameda Drain Trail Public Art. installation It was dedicated on August 1, 2019 and there are currently 4 sculptures located between Montaño and Osuna with one more coming in the Fall of 2019.

This one is titled “Nest” and the artist is John Christensen.
