So, I have been looking for a new coffee place as of late. I have not been at all happy with the quality of the Starbuck coffee in my neighborhood. The coffee has been bitter and basically undrinkable. I’ve called customer service to try and get them to fix this to no avail. At $4.00 dollars for a cup of coffee – I want to drink it and LOVE it. I feel like I have been throwing my money away – sometimes the coffee too.

New Mexico Piñon Coffee was recommended to me and I tried it. I visited the 4th Street location and had a Mocha Latte and a blueberry cream cheese muffin. They were both delish and I would order them again in a hot minute. They were offering free samples of Pumpkin Spice coffee but I am not a fan of the pumpkin business so I didn’t go there. The atmosphere was pleasant. It was quite and the store was clean.

I brought home a pound of Piñon Fudge Coffee – as I enjoy the chocolate taste and I was not disappointed. The barista ground it for me and the aroma filled my car all the way home. Best smell EVER and the coffee is deliciously yummy! I make it in a french press and drink it black. I also brought home a Growler of cold brew which I am thoroughly enjoying. Never thought I would buy a growler of anything.

It is a bit further away but well worth the drive for coffee that is good.

My only complaint would be that the chairs at the table are not particularly comfortable. They were made for skinny people. Really skinny but they did have soft comfy looking chairs and a couch that I didn’t try.
