I haven’t been to Mr. Powdrell’s Barbeque in years which is kind of sad because I remember their BBQ being really good. These photos were taken at the 4th Street location and what caught my eye was the covered wagon and the plow being used as a mailbox holder.

The first time I had the pleasure of Mr. Powdrell’s I was visiting a new friend shortly after I had move to Albuquerque. Unaware I was coming by she had ordered herself a pork sandwich for lunch. The sandwich and I arrived at the same time and she insisted on sharing with me. It was the best pork sandwich I ever had and when we were done eating her sandwich … we went back to Mr Powdrell’s and got another one … each.
