This lovely fellow adorns the outside wall of a tattoo parlor, Southwest Skin Graphix, located at 2608 4th St NW. The map puts the building right in the middle of the intersection … it is actually the building to the north east of the arrow.
As you can see this is a work in progress by a talented artist! I am going to try to get back there and see if it has been completed as I took this photo a few weeks ago!
Today is Theme Day at City Daily Photo. The theme is “Graffiti or Street Mural” Click on the links below to visit the City Daily Photo Blogs participating!

2008-03-01 05:22Perfect! The Day of the Dead mural is so perfect for your geographical area. I need to buy one of the “brides” that I so love before I return home to Minnesota from Mazatlán.

2008-03-01 06:55Strange contrast, the skull surrounded by roses. Two of them aren’t ready yet. Perhaps the artist will come back to complete them. Very nice photo.

2008-03-01 12:03Very nice … I guess tattoo artists could make a living doing murals and street art as well. But they do have this fascination with the macabre, don’t they?
