It’s cold, snowy, and wet today. My tree is gradually losing its leaves, and I expect it to be bare by the weekend. In previous years, the balding process starts slowly, and I wake up to a tree completely leafless. I actually enjoy this stormy weather. I’m also relieved that the snow didn’t accumulate on the ground—at least in my part of Albuquerque.
