So, I had to get up before sunrise the other day and decided that I needed to have some donuts + coffee for breakfast as compensation. I have been following Rise + Roast on IG for awhile but never had the chance to visit.

All of the the donuts from Rise + Roast were deliciously yummy. My favorite donut ever is a Bavarian Cream and this one did not disappoint. It was really good. Possible one of the best I have ever had.

There were two that really surprised me – the first was the Banana Chocolate Filled. I usually find that banana flavored things have an unpleasant chemically taste. This one did NOT and the chocolate filling was like a chocolate pudding. OMGEEE! The second was the Chocolate Cake Glazed. I am not a fan of cake donuts – I actually do not enjoy them at all. This one was different and delicious enough that I would order it again.

The cinnamon bun on the other hand was a bit of a disappointment. It was not really a cinnamon bun. It was more like a cinnamon swirl donut. It was good …. but it was not what I would call a cinnamon bun.

Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a yummy donut.
