The Albuquerque Rose Garden, the oldest public rose garden in the city, established in 1962 is sponsored by The Albuquerque Rose Society.  The garden is located at the Tony Hillerman Library, 8205 Apache Ave. NE. and is a public space.

The garden was originally planted 1962 and has undergone two significant renovations. The first renovation, completed in 1994, introduced a completely new design featuring arbors, pergolas, planting beds with concrete or steel borders, and a state-of-the-art irrigation system. The second renovation, which took place in 2007, expanded the garden’s planting area to the west end of the property.
