Down in Old Town Native American vendors set up under the overhang of La Placita, which is a restaurant that serves American and New Mexican foods, and sell handmade quality jewelry. They are there pretty much everyday that there will be foot traffic around Old Town. Actually, I have never been down there that they were not there. While they are sitting there some of them continue to make there jewelry and I enjoy watching them.

2007-03-25 09:45Love cities that preserve “old town” wherever they may be. Haven’t seen these vendors here in Albuquerque, and can’t imagine how I missed them! Spent lots of time in th Plaza in Santa Fe, though!! Good shot of the tourists, too. Hope they made many purchases because I’m sure the quality and workmanship is excellent.
