I took this photo at Tingly Beach. This was the only goose and gosling I saw and I did not dare get any closer for fear of aggravating Mother Goose. These two just went about there business as if they were the only two at the lake.
However, there were plenty of ducks to keep me entertained. When you pull into the parking lot a whole bunch of ducks come toward the car … and as a few other cars pulled in I discovered why. They are expecting to be fed. They are not aggressive about it at all … they just come and stare at you till they realize that you are not going to feed them and then they wonder off.

I read with interest the information from your link to Tingly Beach since, to my best recollection, the facility did not exist when I lived in Albuquerque or, if it did, we never visited it. 2008-05-16 23:25What a wonderful shot! The detail on the mother’s feathers is fantastic, the little baby looks soft and downy, and I love the way you can see the water getting deeper and deeper. Really a great capture.
