This lil bird was sitting up there for a good long time chasing the other birds away. It was really quite comical to watch! She eventually left and then everybody else was free to throw a birdy munch!

Mourning doves are often very protective of territory and food and will chase others away but the others must be the kind that can be scared by Mourning Doves. Some birds would chase her off the perch in no time.
I think it is a good picture and the narrative is funny too as I have seen it happen many times.
My post today explains about a duck’s sexual habits. Not sure if I should label it with an “X” or not.
