  • I was sitting outside in the truck at 1 AM the other night, waiting for someone to return home from the emergency room. In that moment, we didn’t think about her keys as she was leaving, so I had to stay awake to let her in. She was taken by ambulance because she took a tumble and hit her head. Since she’s on blood thinners, every time she falls and hits her head, she has to go to the hospital, as per her doctor’s orders. It was a bright night, and I distinctly remember thinking… if I have to be awake and out here waiting, at least this is a pretty sight to behold. And it was. I also remember thinking that there should be a spaceship in the sky and an alien being walking across the street, and thanks to AI and Photoshop, there can be. #nightsky #AI #photoshop #spaceship #alien #alienbeing #albuquerque #albuquerquenm #pretty
  • Watch For Flying Discs . I was searching for a place to kill some time one early morning and stumbled upon this disc golf course at Roosevelt Park. Such a pretty park and the place was buzzing with activity—dogs running around like it was a dog park, people playing disc golf, and others walking the park’s perimeter. Even at 6:30 AM, it felt like the place was alive. . Although I’ve never played disc golf myself, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the players that day.   • It’s cold, snowy, and wet today. My tree is gradually losing its leaves, and I expect it to be bare by the weekend. In previous years, the balding process starts slowly, and I wake up to a tree completely leafless. I actually enjoy this stormy weather. I’m also relieved that the snow didn’t accumulate on the ground—at least in my part of Albuquerque.

It’s early November, and while the past few days have been chilly and rainy, a week ago, the temperature was a balmy 80 degrees.   • I was not necessarily looking for a pet lizard but this guy moved in about a month ago, spending most of it’s time in the kitchen. Although, I have seen him in the living room and other places. I have tried to catch him in a net and escort him out to a more suitable environment but I have failed miserably in my attempts. I have also left the back door opened so that he could escape but yesterday I caught him looking out that very door while it was opened and instead of leaving he ran back into the kitchen.
