As I strolled through Civic Plaza today, basking in the scorching 100-degree heat, the fountain beckoned with its inviting waters. However, I resisted the temptation to jump in as I am not a big fan of being hauled away in handcuffs.
Civic Plaza transforms into a vibrant hub of activity during the summer months, particularly in June and July. Every Saturday night, the Summer Fest unfolds, showcasing a diverse array of musical styles.
Mark your calendars for this coming Saturday, June 24th, as International Night promises to be an exciting experience. But the event I’m eagerly anticipating is July 22nd, Oldies Night, where we’ll be transported back in time to the groovy tunes of the past.

2006-06-23 11:15When I was in college it was tradition for your friends to kidnap you on your birthday and throw you into a fountain. of course it was on college property so no real risk of being dragged off by the police. =)

As for getting arrested… well, does the jail have air conditioning? If so, it might be worth it. 😉
