These handsome dudes are part of the Pueblo of Sandia Bison Project! I didn’t see any babies or moms out today but these two seemed to be enjoying the snow! I don’t know what that green thing is and there was nobody around to ask!
It’s cold, snowy, and wet today. My tree is gradually losing its leaves, and I expect it to be bare by the weekend. In previous years, the balding process starts...
My tree is still predominantly green, and even the fallen leaves retain their green hue. It’s early November, and while the past few days have been chilly and rainy, a...
I was not necessarily looking for a pet lizard but this guy moved in about a month ago, spending most of it’s time in the kitchen. Although, I have seen...

It looks a lot like what we would call a cattle crush here. No, you don’t put them in and squash the cattle, it just holds them if you need to drench or inject them or otherwise check them out. All that snow!! Does that happen every winter??
Hi Mandi, They are amazing creatures. I love to go and watch them!
Sophie, thank you for the compliments!
Joanna, Thank you!
Brenda, No, this snow does not happen every year. This is the most snow Albuquerque has ever received in one storm! We usually get a dusting and it is gone as soon as the sun comes up! Thanks for the info on the green thing!
Thanks, Kris!
Thank you all for visiting Albuquerque Daily Photo!

What a beautiful picture of two of my favorite creatures: bison and crows. Wonderful shot in snowy Albuquerque.
