I took this photo at 2nd Street and Menaul Blvd. NW. That is downtown Albuquerque you see on the horizon. I was where the green arrow is on the map and you can see the train tracks running right along 2nd Street all the way to downtown. Downtown on the map is where it says Albuquerque.

2007-04-28 05:37Wow. The vanishing point in this perspective shot is great. Points right to downtown. Very nice, Helen.
I have posted some information about codes that might interest you.

2007-04-28 09:52Great perspective! From here it looks as if there are a few high rise buildings downtown…am I right?

2007-04-29 08:49I love a photo with path or railroad to lead your eye. The downtown buildings and the clouds are very nice.

2007-04-29 12:48Despite all the new technology, rail travel is still awfully appealing. Perspective is wonderful; makes me want to take a trip to the west coast.

2007-04-29 20:39It’s been a long time sense I’ve been to Albuquerque. I need to come back some day. As a kid, I lived in Los Alamos.

2007-04-30 14:01Wow! I love that particular nostalgic feel that comes from railroad tracks disappearing into infinity. It captures the essense of what it really means to travel to somewhere else.

2007-05-01 01:02Abraham, Thank you. And thanks for the heads up on the coding info.
Thank you, Martha.
Hi Glenn, Albuquerque is a small city so you are correct in that there are not alot of high rise buildings!
Denton, I enjoy the same kind of photo. And I love railroad tracks for providing the opportunity!
Kate, Thank you! Stop by on your way through Albuquerque!
Hi Andrew. I was just up in Los Alamos last week.
Thanks, Seda!
Hi Julie, Thanks!
