I actually took this a week or two ago but forgot about it. The storm was spectacular as was the lightening which I missed in this photo.
Yesterday’s sky and the storm did not live up to what these clouds seemed to be predicting.
Last night’s sky looking west towards the sunset.
The sun was in a and out for most of the day. When it started to set a bunch of storm clouds blew in and started a ruckus. This was the result.
They had two flavors: Regular and Chile. We tried the regular and it was quite good. Next time it will be the Chile flavor.
The clouds here in Albuquerque never disappoint. It was beautifully stormy yesterday at the Farmer’s Market.
This is a looking to the east. Yesterday’s sky was to the north.
The weather was spectacular today. The wind and hail was so loud that it drowned out my music. I love a good storm!!
It was a beautifully stormy -ish, cloudy day here. I love when the big fluffy marshmallow clouds come peeking over Sandia Peak.
I love clouds. I have seen clouds sit on the mountain like a hat. I have seen them make the mountain disappear into veil of haze but I have never seen a cloud look like it was reaching out of the sky to touch the mountain.
We got 10 inches of snow which is the most it has snowed here since 2006. That was on Saturday. By yesterday it was all melted.
