This handsome fellow has been built every year on westbound I-40 in Albuquerque since 1995 when they only used one tumbleweed. He is the tallest he has every been this year at 13.5 feet.
I love when folks think outside the box and come up with unique Christmas/Holiday decorations. This was parked but if they drive it around Albuquerque you can be sure they are spreading holiday cheer along the way.
The lawn ornaments are starting to show up not now that it is getting closer to the holiday. This is one of my favorites.
Tonight is the Twinkle Light parade here in Albuquerque. Always fun to see all the lights twinkling down Central Avenue.
I thought this window was very tastefully decorated for the holiday season.
Fireworks can be really fun to watch but they can also be really scary.
One time when my kids were little, they didn’t quite shoot the fireworks high enough and the hot embers were falling into the crowd. Some people in the crowd got burned pretty severely. Luckily, we were not in the way of the embers and walked away fine.
