Coming in for a landing at the Rio Grande Nature Center.
I love to head up to the mountains for some R&R. This entrance to Cibola National Forest is at the base of the Sandia Peak Tramway. There are hiking trails that are accessible from here when there is no fire danger.
It was a beautifully stormy -ish, cloudy day here. I love when the big fluffy marshmallow clouds come peeking over Sandia Peak.
I love clouds. I have seen clouds sit on the mountain like a hat. I have seen them make the mountain disappear into veil of haze but I have never seen a cloud look like it was reaching out of the sky to touch the mountain.
A tandem take-off. And it was loud!
I love when the clouds make shadows on the mountain. Taken at the Rio Grande Nature Center.
