The color of his feathers in the sun were beautiful.
I had a really had time trying to decide which photo was my favorite of 2015. This hummingbird shot won out by a very slight margin and the reason I chose it it because hummingbirds are so hard to capture. They flit around so fast.
A hummingbird stopping for lunch at a road side eatery. I love hummingbirds and miss them when they fly off for winter.
These two crows were having a grand time doing whatever it is that crows do!
And I am pretty sure I see Pumba from The Lion King lurking in the bushes there.
Photo 3 of the Mural at the Zoo. The artists of this magnificent mural are Albert Rosales and Juan Morales (see the bottom right corner).
He/She was sitting there enjoying the sunset.
I really enjoyed watching this magnificent Red Tailed Hawk. She was majestic and amazingly large in person. These few photos really do not do her justice. I’m pretty sure she was looking right at me here.
Same bird as yesterday …. after it landed!
This Red Tailed Hawk was just gorgeous and it’s wing span must have been between 3 – 4 feet.
I love to watch birds. This quail spent the better part of an hours foraging in this little patch of dirt. He seem oblivious to everything around him.
