Looking north from Albuquerque.
I’m suffering from ISE — Ice and Snow Envy — as I look at your pictures. I was so counting on the El Nino to break our drought here in the Arizona mountains — but every one of the past three storms has dropped a token of moisture and then dumped further east and north!
As for your straight-as-a-rail picture: it takes me back to my childhood, when tracks heading to infinity suggested wonderful, unimaginable lands Somewhere Out There! Now we fly over these wonderful, unimaginable lands if we’re lucky; my favorite is Phx to Seattle, which passes over the Great Basin and not much else.
I can’t get tired of watching your photos! love these snowed landscape!
Greetings from madrid dailyphoto blog
Nice perspective – were you standing on a bridge? I too miss the snow, but only for a day or so;-))) How are you coping?
I feel quite envious of your winter weather, and you have some fine pictures to illustrate it here. In England, I fear we will see no snow at all this year.
The snow looks gone from the trees. Maybe it is melting? Stay warm!
Had to blog one more time before I leave tomorrow. Love, love, love this photo. Would make wonderful wallpaper for the computer!!
Love the depth of this photo!
