I have the utmost respect as an artist for someone who can carve a tree like this. Look at the detail on the chain saw. I don’t know who the artist is.
This is a follow-up post to the Jan 23rd post. McDonald’s is nothing but a giant hole in the ground with much rubble strewn about the lot. There is still no clue as to whether or not they are rebuilding another McDonald’s or something else.

YUM! Never had a pizza from Scarpas that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. My favorite menu items are the Eggplant Parmesan Pizza and the Torta Di Mele dessert is to die for.
I noticed when I was looking at Casa Taco’s menu that they have some vegetarian options. Looking forward to trying it sometime soon.
Every other establishment that has occupied this space has gone out of business or moved pretty quick. I hope that Casa Taco has better luck.
This bumper sticker speaks for itself.
When I saw this McDonald’s in ruins today I was shocked. I was just by there a few days ago and it was business as usual. I don’t know if they relocated or if they went out of business.

The color of his feathers in the sun were beautiful.
Looking forward to spring and this photo is a throw back to last spring. January always seems so much longer than 31 days. This is an entrance to a mountain hiking trail in the Cibola National Forest. When it’s really dry and there is a fire danger many if not all of these trail get closed.
That plant with the white bloom of flowers on top is a Yucca which New Mexico adopted as it’s state flower in 1927.
