As I am usually wondering around the Sandia Mountains on the east side of Albuquerque, today I decided to go west. On the west side of Albuquerque there are volcanos. The volcanos in New Mexico are not extinct but they are dormant.

2006-07-08 23:55I was going through your photos and thinking I wonder if she’s gotten to the volcanos on the West Mesa and there they are! I didn’t know they were just dormant. Also nice photo of the rainbow and plane.

2006-07-13 14:08Holy Frak! You learn something new everyday—who would have thought volcanoes in New Mexico. Thanks for enlightening me. Here’s a bit of information you might not have known—running through Central Texas there’s a fault line, pretty close to us in San Antonio. When I first heard of it I was like WHAT?! This ain’t California.

2012-09-22 12:40Very nice picture. As for those of you who never knew there are volcanoes in New Mexico, you must not have been to the Valley of Fire. There are volcanoes all over New Mexico.
