The taxis in Albuquerque are scarce to say the least. Albuquerque Cab was the cab of my choice when I needed to use a taxi service. There is one other taxi service in Albuquerque and that is Checker or Yellow Cab.

Kris, I actually found this one at a hospital. I had a hard time finding one at all!
Ham, yep only two choices of taxis or the bus system and computer railway!
Eric, The only place that I lived where taxis were common was New York!
Jazzy, the bus system is pretty reliable but stops running pretty early! They also just started a commuter railway!

Sally, No, you cannot hail a cab on the street. You have to call and arrange for a pick up. I understand they are pretty reliable.
