This Red Tailed Hawk was just gorgeous and it’s wing span must have been between 3 – 4 feet.
This is a Mulberry pollen pod on the tree in front of our house. As soon as all the “worms” are gone and replaced with leaves I will be able to breathe again. Right now, It’s a serious challenge
We got 10 inches of snow which is the most it has snowed here since 2006. That was on Saturday. By yesterday it was all melted.
Super windy here tonight. I am afraid to let my little dogs out for fear they will blow away!
I wonder when the birds come back after the winter if they build new nests or move back into the ones they vacated when they flew south.

I chose this as my favorite photo of 2012 because of the gradient in the sky and the silhouette of the tree. To me it is a peaceful photo and I am praying for peace in 2013.
When you see one crow, you know there has to be more. And I was right. Shortly after I took this a group of 5 or 6 flew over. They are magnificent birds but I am afraid to let my let my little woofers out!
The Old Town Christmas Tree
When I woke up today there was snow on the ground. Snow here in Albuquerque doesn’t usually last very long; often it is gone by the afternoon.
The snow, today, made me wish that Autumn had lasted just a bit longer as everything looks so dead and lonely in the winter. This is one of my last shots of the fall colors this year. 8/8
