This is a follow-up post to the Jan 23rd post. McDonald’s is nothing but a giant hole in the ground with much rubble strewn about the lot. There is still no clue as to whether or not they are rebuilding another McDonald’s or something else.
YUM! Never had a pizza from Scarpas that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. My favorite menu items are the Eggplant Parmesan Pizza and the Torta Di Mele dessert is to die for.
I noticed when I was looking at Casa Taco’s menu that they have some vegetarian options. Looking forward to trying it sometime soon.
Every other establishment that has occupied this space has gone out of business or moved pretty quick. I hope that Casa Taco has better luck.
This bumper sticker speaks for itself.
When I saw this McDonald’s in ruins today I was shocked. I was just by there a few days ago and it was business as usual. I don’t know if they relocated or if they went out of business.
I wonder if this McDonald’s is a victim of people wanting to eat a healthier diet?
Valentine’s Day is just shy of a month away. I found this kiosk (that’s what Whole Foods calls them) in Whole Foods and I wonder how long it’s been there. I guess they put it up right after they take the Christmas stuff down. One holiday just rolls into another.
I can’t remember where I took this photo. I’m thinking it was at Old Town Pizza in Old Town.
When I was a kid if I dare uttered the words, “I’m tired” … my Grandfather would tell me I was too young to be tired and that I would have time to sleep when I was dead.
I don’t know if All is OneTattoo Design is professional or not … or if there work is any good but I like the sentiment behind the sign. You can look at their Facebook page here.
They are located in Nob Hill.
I have driven by Chocolate Dude I don’t know how many times and each time I say, “I need to stop there and see what they are all about!” Tonight I did. The inside of the place is really neat as you will see in the coming days. I tried an Americano and was not all that all that impressed. It was a weak cup of coffee. I didn’t try the chocolate but it looks amazing and the people who worked there are quite welcoming. Maybe next time I will try some chocolate.
Need to go to O’Niell’s in Nob Hill and try their brunch. I bet it’s delicious.
We went to O’Niell’s on New Year’s Eve to ring in the Dublin New Year (5 PM MST) with High Desert Pipes and Drums. I had the Spicy Mac and Cheese and it was bar none the BEST Mac and Cheese I have ever had.
