We are so “dry” here that they have closed access to the hiking trails in the Sandia Mountains. We had a bit of rain yesterday but not nearly enough. We need a serious soaking to alleviate the fire danger!

The birds in the neighborhood like to swoop in and steal a drink from my pool.
This lone pink rose is surviving on the last, live, tiny piece of a dying rose bush.
We used to live just to the left of this drainage ditch and when ever my dog used to escape she would run right for it. We spent many an hour chasing her through here.
This was standing outside a LARGE store that I don’t shop in but I couldn’t help but thinking how much fun kids would have with this in their backyards!
What kid doesn’t love to get a new bike? I remember my daughter getting her first “big girl” bike as she called it. She was 3 and the training wheels were off in a week. She couldn’t go fast enough with them on.
My pool would never be swim ready without Leslie’s. It’s where I go for all my pool supplies and other fun stuff like water hammocks and pool basketball hoops. Â I never get out of there without dropping way more money than I intended to drop. Â Â It’s located at 2740 Wyoming Blvd NE # 5, Albuquerque.
