I didn’t realize how long it’s been since I posted. This was taken through the truck windshield on San Pedro NE as we ran into yet another cluster of road work as we were trying to avoid the roadwork that hung us up for an hour and 45 minutes yesterday. Every single major road that we need to take to get from North Albuquerque down to South Albuquerque is torn up. Why did they have to do EVERY single road at the same time? DUMB
The snowy mountains and roadways taken by my friend Susan Hilty.
Thank you, Susan for permission to share your photo.
Route Q at Uptown. I like the double exposure on this photo.
The “Q” Monument is located in uptown at the cross roads of Uptown Blvd. and “Q” Street!
This handsome fellow has been built every year on westbound I-40 in Albuquerque since 1995 when they only used one tumbleweed. He is the tallest he has every been this year at 13.5 feet.
One of these days I am going to drive Route 66 from one end to the other.

I don’t know if this is an actual Ghost Bike or a loving memorial to a beloved family member. Either way, it is a lovely way to honor someone who lost their life needlessly.
December’s theme is My Street. This is a view of my street looking west.
I spotted these four boys boarding around the university area. The leader of the pack had what looked like a camera mounted on his helmet. I wonder if they are making a video or other such project?
