I love the pink sunsets in Albuquerque.
I took this standing in the middle of the street right in front of my house at sunset. I was looking west. The “mountain” is actually a volcano.
Why Weapons of Mass Lubrication of course … maybe a Grease Gun Bazooka or something!! Anyway found this to be quite amusing.
It was everywhere … and it was scary. And the thunder was so booming it made things fall off shelves.
Another shot of yesterday’s rainbow. This is not the same photo.
I was in the pool yesterday and it was seriously overcast. It was even dropping a bit of rain here and there. Then I looked up towards the east and saw this most perfect rainbow. I could not get out of the pool fast enough as I was afraid I would miss this amazing opportunity. The sunset light only lasts a minute or two and that was what was producing the rainbow.
This is the same photo I posted on March 30, 2008 only in B&W. I think I like the B&W version better!
This is pretty much how this photo came out of the camera. The only thing I did was a crop. This was taken last night February 14th.
I did take this using a tripod and a remote so I didn’t have to touch the camera after I set it up!
I love the color of the Albuquerque sky after the sun sets but before it gets dark. The pinks and purples are just gorgeous!
I thought this photo would make a perfect Christmas card!
