Albuquerque Skyline during a rainy sunset.
Taken with my cell phone! Proof that you should never leave your house without your camera!
This is the April Full Moon setting over downtown Albuquerque.
The Full Moon in April is called the Full Pink Moon. They call it this because of the herb moss pink, or wild ground phlox, which is one of the earliest flowers of the spring.
They also call it the Full Sprouting Grass Moon and the Egg Moon.
Another shot of the downtown skyline here in Albuquerque. As you can see this is a well lit area.
Part of the Downtown Albuquerque skyline. Sorry about the blown out sky.
The taller building is Albuquerque Plaza. Standing at 22 stories and 351 ft (107 m) it is the tallest building in New Mexico. The shorter building is the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque which is 21 stories and 256 ft (78 m). It is the 2nd tallest building and the tallest hotel in New Mexico.
On a blazing hot day here in Albuquerque (like yesterday) people will try to get under one of these … if there is one around just to get out of the sun. It can be considerably cooler in the shade.
