I don’t really know much about the Route 66 Hostel but I love the building.
Kelly’s purchased this building in 1999 from the historic Jones Motor Company. This building, built in 1939, is a landmark. Read the history here. They also have a really nice menu. I haven’t tried their beers but I have heard good things about them.
I didn’t think there were are working pay phones still around. This one is located at the Post Office on San Antonio and San Pedro.
The tallest building in Albuquerque located outside of Downtown Albuquerque. It is 17 floors and 213 feet.
Not too long ago this was an empty dirt lot. It took maybe 2 weeks to go from nothing to the bones of an apartment complex.
I have stayed at The Doubletree Hotel a few times now and I have always enjoyed my stay. This one is located in downtown Albuquerque on 2nd Ave and Marquette.
Starting today I am going to be doing a series on Tingley Beach. 1/8 (I will be taking a break in the series on theme day … then it will return on December 2.)
They just painted this building. Why they chose Pepto Bismol Pink I will never know. If it was to be LOUD and CONSPICUOUS they succeeded!
They look like they are falling over … don’t they?
