Albuquerque Tricentennial

This year Albuquerque celebrated its Tricentennial . For its 300th birthday some body thought fancy new trash bins on the streets would be lovely. And lovely they would be if people would just use them.

You can see a close up of the plaque on the lovely trash bin at Albuquerque Extra.

We have these exact style bins all over New York City. I think they’re great! Of course, and people should use them. 🙂

I heard that one of the pueblos, in New Mexico, was the oldest town in the US. Congratulations on your Tricentennial.
