The Red Rock Window

Also taken on my Saturday trip up in the Jemez Mountains. This one was taken a bit later in the day and the sun was starting to set.

I cant get over how red the soil is! Very cool contrast, so different from what we have here in the Pacific NW!

Fantastic. I love the view into your world. So different from mine — a wonderful virtual trip!

The richness of the soil makes this an outstanding photo!

Helen, I love where I live but your photos make me long for where I grew up. I know the terrain is different in Texas, where I grew up, than it is in New Mexico. But they are close enough to bring back very fond memories. And your photos highlight the best … I really like the colors in this photo. That and the late afternoon light.

Great shot. Looks like a nice place. I might have to make a run out there this weekend.
