Happy New Year!!
I chose this as my favorite photo of 2012 because of the gradient in the sky and the silhouette of the tree. To me it is a peaceful photo and I am praying for peace in 2013.

Yes, this is an excellent choice. Last year we were in Santa Fe for New Year’s and several months thereafter. Wish we were there now since it is currently -2 degrees right now.
