Bien Muir Trading Post

This piece of art work is located outside of the Bien Muir Trading Post which is located on the Sandia Pueblo. It is a huge trading post and well stocked. I enjoy going here …. and I love this “mural.”

Abandoned

This ruin in located in the Sandia Mountains. It looks like it could have been a church. I have looked and looked for info on what it was and when it dates back to but I have found nothing … which probably means I am looking in the wrong place.

Today is Albuquerque Daily Photos 3rd Anniversary. It certainly does not feel like it has been 3 years. Here’s to another 3 …. or more.

Bluebird of Blue Bird?

Bluebird

Does anyone know what kind of bird this is?

One of the things I like to do up in the mountains is look for birds. I am guessing that all of the birds were hiding due to the stormy weather  because this was the one and only bird I saw.

Stormy Sandia's

I was up in the mountains today and it was amazing. It was stormy and windy but beautiful beyond words.  You can see how hard the wind was blowing by the trees in the foreground.

Trader Joe's Sign

When I was at Trader Joe’s I spotted this sign. I thought is was clever and very well done. I think it is a chalk drawing but I didn’t want to touch it to find out. I know if I did something like this and some turkey touched it I would be really annoyed.

I don’t know who the artist is as it was not signed. If this is your work … or you know who it belongs to please leave me a comment so I can give them credit. Thanks!!

Seedless Watermelon

Stopped by Trader Joe’s this evening and they had the most delicious looking watermelon. It was seedless and reasonably priced.
