I guess this would be a most excellent solution if you have kids in the car on a cold day and you only need one or two items. I know I would have used this when my daughter was a baby rather than load and unload her into and out of the car seat …. which she mounted a serious fight again.

Balloon Chase Crew

This is a balloon chase crew … chasing their balloon. Basically their goal is to follow the balloon by road and to be at the landing site before the balloon gets there in case they need assistance.
Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta

It’s time for Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta again. This year it is running from October 3rd to October 12th.
This morning I was having breakfast and all of a sudden a huge shadow came over and I heard the whooosh of the balloon burner. It was literally right over my house. So I grabbed my camera and ran outside and there were about 30 or so balloons right over head and more coming. They were landing about 2 block away in a huge field. It was AWESOME.
Just Muffin Around

My son works across the street from this muffin bakery and he told me … MA, go try it … they have just muffin tops. So I did and they are yummy. I tried a coconut, a mint chocolate chip, a cheese cake and a blueberry. I enjoyed them all.
Up with People

Up with People was in Albuquerque this week and I was lucky enough to stumble on them doing a mini-show in Old Town.
Up with People exists today to spark people to action in meeting the needs of their communities, countries and the world while building bridges of understanding as a foundation for the world. I did not write this … I took it from their website because I wanted to be 100% sure it was accurate.
I did, however, take this photo and I loved this guy’s guitar case. Stumbling onto them was a real treat and I am sorry i could not make the full show at the zoo.
