These are the reason I am posting late yet again! They are doing roadwork outside my house and keep knocking out my internet service. I don’t know what they are doing out there but whatever they are dropping into the holes they are digging are making my whole house shake like we are having an earthquake! Hopefully they are almost done!
Road to Albuquerque

I took this photo while we were driving back into Albuquerque from a day up in the Jemez Mountains. And no I was not driving … I was taking the photo. The sun was setting and I thought the mountains looked beautiful! That is the Sandia’s!

Sorry this photo is being posted so late in the day! There is some road work going on outside my house and it inturruped my connection to the internet! I am not sure when this happened but my connection just came up a few minutes ago!

I don’t remember exactly when this sculpture was completed but I do know it was in the early 90′s. That is a real car up there if I remember correctly!
Friend or Foe

This sculpture sits as guardian at National Metals scrap yard which advertises that they buy all scrap metal. Given that they buy all scrap metal I believe that this amazing dragon is made entirely out of all scrap metal! I think whoever sculpted this fellow is extremely talented! Fierce looking, isn’t he?

North Fourth Art Center Pole
