The Lights of Albuquerque

This is Albuquerque after the sun goes down. I was coming back down the mountain after a gorgeous sunset and decided to give night time photography another shot.
If you go to Albuquerque Extra you can see some photos of the lights dancing over Albuquerque. Probably not the best technically but they look really cool.

This is Landry’s Seafood House. They have the best seafood here in Albuquerque. I also thought it looked really pretty all lit up.
Landry’s has a fountain in the front with a small pond. Go to Albuquerque Extra to see a photo.
Days Gone By

When I was up in the moutains the other day I stumbled up this rock house. There was no sign or plaque explaining what it was so I just let my imagination work overtime. My story is that a old, old dragon lives here and he hides out during the day when nosey humans like myself poke around his humble abode. I have decided his name is Wesley!

The Mountains

I found a new trail up in the mountains today. This new trail, well new for me, is the La Luz Trail. It’s difficulty is rated as hard, it is 16 miles long and takes from 5 to 11.5 hours. It’s elevation is 7,080 feet to 10,280 feet. I did not hike this trail as I am not physically ready for this kind of undertaking but the part I did see was magnificent!

I have driven past The Ghost Town Trading Company a million times during the day. I would glance at the furniture it had on display outside the building and think… Wow, kewl furniture. I never had the urge to take a picture of it till I saw it at night!

For Debbie who requested a picture of The Frontier Restaurant.
This is The Frontier Restaurant. It is quite popular as it is located right across the street from The University of NM. I personally have never eaten there but they do have the best cinnamon buns I have ever had!
There are a few more pictures at Albuquerque Extra.
