Who Ruffled His Feathers?

This little roadrunner was sitting on a curb in a parking lot. Every time the wind would blow his feathers would ruffle. It must have felt good because as long as the wind was blowing he would sit still … as soon as it stopped he was off and running.

Does anyone know what kind of bird this is?
One of the things I like to do up in the mountains is look for birds. I am guessing that all of the birds were hiding due to the stormy weather because this was the one and only bird I saw.

I was up in the mountains today and it was amazing. It was stormy and windy but beautiful beyond words. You can see how hard the wind was blowing by the trees in the foreground.
